David Cornett | Vice President, Business Development

David Cornett has over thirty years of experience in healthcare. He spent the first ten years of his career as a practicing pharmacist in Dallas, TX, beginning at St. Paul Hospital. He then spent twenty years in the healthcare search and consulting fields.

At Cejka and Company in St. Louis, MO, David was a healthcare executive search consultant and, later, Sr. Vice President and Managing Partner responsible for overseeing the firm’s national physician search operations, as well as its candidate sourcing function. His career also included ten years as a Regional Vice President responsible for new business development, a role in which he developed new client relationships and managed some of the firm’s largest accounts. Prior to joining Cejka, David was Vice President with another national search firm based in Atlanta, GA with responsibility for East Region physician search operations.

David joined IMI in 2009 as Vice President, New Business Development. He holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin and has been a member of various healthcare organizations, including the Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
