Vice President of Decision Support, Clinical Operations
Prior to joining Inpatient Management, Brenda held leadership
roles involving technology, operations and clinical practice in
healthcare. She has previous work experience as the Director of
Knowledge Services for Kaiser Permanente national offices. Also,
Hopkins worked as the Director for Business development and implementation
for AthenaHealth, and as a healthcare executive in clinical IT
for Stanford University Medical Center.
Hopkins graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s
degree in the Science of Nursing. She also earned Master’s degree
in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco
and completed the Executive Business Program at the University
of California at Berkeley. Hopkins is also a member of The American
College of Healthcare Executives, The American Health Information
Management Association, the American Nurse Informatics Association
and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
