Morehead Memorial Hospital is a 108-bed not-for-profit community
hospital located in Eden, North Carolina. Featured on a 22-acre
campus in central Eden, the main campus is home to inpatient and
day hospital services, a state-of-the-art emergency department, birthing
center, nursing center, cancer treatment center, and three office
buildings for physicians. In addition, Morehead Memorial Hospital
has four off-campus sites: Morehead at the Mall, providing cardiac
rehabilitation, chronic disease, wellness and health education
programs; the Wright Diagnostic Center, providing laboratory, diagnostic
imaging, and patient financial services; Morehead Physical Rehabilitation,
providing physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language
therapy, massage therapy, and functional capacity evaluations;
and Morehead Academy Child Development Center, providing daycare
and after school programs for children from infancy through 12
years of age. The dedicated physicians and staff at Morehead Memorial have
earned recognition as a "100 Top Hospitals in America."
Nestled in the foothills of the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains,
