Hays Medical Center is a 194 bed state-of-the-art,
private, not-for-profit facility. It is only one of two locations
outside of The Methodist Health System in Houston, TX to be affiliated
with The DeBakey Heart Institute providing heart surgery for the
western half of the state. A growing medical staff of over 90 physicians
representing more than 22 medical specialties provides the only
tertiary level of services in the region. Hays Medical Center also
provides medical, surgical, and pediatric care along with cardiac,
neonatal and intensive care units; cancer, joint care, diagnostic
imaging and eye surgery center; skilled care, home health, and
outpatient behavioral health and rehabilitation. Hays has a new
Center for Health Improvement, incorporating hospital-based fitness
and rehabilitation programs with occupational medicine and independent
physician clinics. Hays Medical Center has been named one of the

Hays, KS is a thriving community with a service
area of over 150,000 and all the offerings of a metropolitan area
