Freeport Memorial Hospital is part of the FHN
Network, a regional healthcare system committed to the health and
well-being of the people of northwest Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
FHN is comprised of FHN Memorial Hospital,
the FHN Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center, 14 family healthcare
centers offering primary and specialty medical
care throughout a five-county area, Home Healthcare and Hospice,
occupational and chiropractic health services,
complementary medicine, dental care and outpatient mental health
services. An average of 1,700 people come to
FHN daily for their healthcare needs. Freeport Memorial Hospital
is licensed for 172 Beds, has 74 physicians on
staff, 27 are primary care physicians.
Due to growth and support of community physicians, the hospital
is formalizing their Hospitalist Program. We are looking to kick
off the department with 4 physicians, two teams of two working
7on/7off. Shifts will be during the day with alternating call at
night. We anticipate growing to a 6 physician program in a year.
At that time, we will run 24/7
in house coverage. The average number of patient encounters per
physician will be 15. We offer a competitive compensation package,

work and family. We are recruiting for 2 staff Hospitalists and
one Medical Director. All candidates must be BE or BC in IM, Med-Peds
or Family Medicine.
